Organized by the Greater Baltimore Democratic Socialists of America, this reading group is open to everyone. We will be reading Rosa Luxemburg's essential "Reform or Revolution". The debate between reformers and revolutionaries is probably the greatest source of division on the left and has been for well over a century. In America, we have seen a revitilization of leftist organizations over the last 2 years, which makes this debate especially salient today. Over the course of 4 sessions we will interpret and analyze the text, debate Luxemburg's arguments, and attempt to apply the lessons of the text to our current historical moment.
