Using Movies To Build Social Justice

Members and clients of the Megaphone Project, http://www.megaphoneproject.org/, will sponsor a panel discussion of the various aspects of using film as a tool for social justice movements.  Whether educating members of the general public, informing legislators, dramatizing struggles that are not adequately described in words, or educating members of an affected constitutency, well-produced movies can amplify the voices of the voiceless and galvanize communities to take action.  Come participate in a panel discussion with directors, clients, funders, and staff/board members at Megaphone about the possibilities and pitfals of using film as a tool of social justice movements.
