These series of workshops will touch on current topics affecting the lives of Muslims and connecting it to the history of Muslims in America. The workshops will be facilitated through the lives of an Arab-Muslim woman and an Asian-Muslim Woman. We will be inviting other community members to lead workshops on days that we dedicate to those communities and their unique struggle. The topics will range from the basic explanation of the meaning of the word Islam to the hard hitting topics such as the trauma of 9/11 affecting American Muslims.
